Rebecca began her career with Family Plus over 15 years ago as a support worker in the ASSIST program, where she realized that she wanted to advance her training. Rebecca holds a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of New Brunswick Fredericton, and is a Licensed counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB). Rebecca has been a vital team member in forming our sexual abuse treatment program at Family plus and has a passion working with youth affected by sexual violence. In addition, Rebecca has an interest in providing counselling to parents, couples and individuals struggling with parenting, depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. Rebecca uses a variety of modalities including Christian-based counselling, Multi systemic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Choice Theory.
