Orly is a registered Social Worker with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. She holds a Master Degree in Social Work. She immigrated to Canada from Israel where she had been a practicing social worker since 1990. Much of her work in her homeland was with foster families and at risk children and youth who struggled with mental health. Given her vast experience with conducting evaluations and analysis for at risk clients and being an immigrant herself, she understands the challenges and support that people often need in times of transition and change. Since moving to Canada, Orly has worked with families in both the public mental health system as well as in the community. Areas of practice include individual and family therapy dealing with loss, separation, trauma, anxiety and parental guidance. Orly has been a part of the clinical team at Family Plus since 2015 and feels proud to say, “Family Plus is my favourite place to work”.
