Kerry holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from McGill University and is a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate and Canadian Certified Counsellor. Kerry has worked as a school counsellor for over 20 years. Since joining Family Plus in 2020, Kerry completed the coursework to become a Certified Play Therapist with the Canadian Association for Play Therapy. Using a client centered trauma-informed therapeutic model, she uses both play therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques when working with children, adolescents, and families. Her areas of experience include anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and trauma.
