Judy Halassy is a registered Social Worker with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. She is a graduate of UNB Saint John with her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in psychology and was a RN before she began her social work career. Prior to her counselling career, Judy worked as a psychiatric nurse, and a social worker at Ridgewood Addictions Services. Judy has been a contract clinician with Family Plus for over 20 years. Judy enjoys working with adults, and specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, personality disorders (using CBT principles), addictions, marital counselling, and interpersonal relationships in the work place. In addition to individual therapy, Judy has experience facilitating groups such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
