Dr. Eve Beals holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research in New York and has been licensed as a psychologist in the province of New Brunswick since 2011. She has prior experience in the Mental Health system and at Family Plus she specializes in working with children and their families and administering Psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Beals has clinical experience providing diagnoses and recommending interventions for attention deficit disorders, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. She additionally is experienced in providing individual and family-based therapy for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and working with family separations, grief and loss. She has training in multiple therapeutic modalities providing the ability to match therapeutic approaches to the client, ranging from the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques and Motivational Interviewing (MI) approaches to more interpersonal, humanistic or psychodynamic therapies.
