Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Education, and a Masters of Education from the University of New Brunswick. He is a licensed therapist and has practiced at Family Plus since 2015. Adam uses a variety of modalities including Interpersonal Psychotherapy for individuals and groups (adult and youth), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Person-centered (Rogerian therapy), Solution focuses, and Trauma Informed. Areas of practice include anxiety, depression, interpersonal deficits, anger, relationships, couples & family/parenting, family of origin, historical trauma, career/employment performance issues, and critical incident response. Adam works mostly with youth 13 and over, as well as adults.
