Anna Mattie is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Anna graduated from the University of New Brunswick Saint John where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University.

Prior to joining Family Plus, Anna practiced social work at the Department of Social Development in Child Protection, and within the Anglophone South School District. During this time Anna supported at-risk children, youth, and their families from various demographics facing a range of challenges. 

As Kit’s Place Family Coordinator, Anna uses a trauma-informed approach when providing support to clients and their caregivers.  Anna is passionate about helping clients understand and access available resources for support. Anna approaches with flexibility and collaboration to best suit client’s strengths and needs; placing them at the centre of the care model.
